Cancellation policy
Twin Rivers Alaska has a very short season like many Alaskan summer resorts, consequently our overnight bookings require commitment and advance notice in the event of cancellation. Activities have much more leeway in cancellations. Below are the Cancellation Policies of various Twin Rivers lodging and activities:
Strict Cancellation
These policies apply to the Premium Domes: Non Refundable: 30 days prior to check in. 50% Refund: 90- 30 days prior to check in. Full refund less $100 >90 days prior to check in. Travel insurance is recommended.
Flexible Cancellation
Activities have Flexible Cancellation unless noted. Non-refundable: 24 hours from meeting time check in. 50% refund: 7 days from check in. Full refund greater than 7 days to check in.
Booking
Bookings require full payment at time of booking. Refunds for cancellations are available within 24 hours of making a reservation as long as the booking is not within the non-refundable term.
Weather Cancellations
Trips in general will not be cancelled for rain or inclement weather. Its Alaska, we don’t worry about getting rained on, bring boots and a rain jacket. However, if ground conditions are excessively saturated and would cause damage to trails or safety concerns, then trips may be cancelled. If TRW cancels an activity or excursion due to weather, safety, or logistical concerns, then a full refund will be given. Routing or meeting places may have to be adjusted due to weather or logistical concerns, in which case no refunds are available
